He arose very early while it was still night and went away into a desert place

and prayed there.

and his disciples began plucking the ears of corn as they went along.

Later Simon and those with him looked for him and on finding him they said “Everyone is looking for you.”

The Pharisees said to him (Jesus). "Look why do they do something on the Sabbath day which is not lawful." He said to them. "Have you never read what David did when he was in need and he and the ones with him were hungry?"
